About the position

The Revenue Management Analyst at University Partners plays a crucial role in maximizing revenue through effective pricing strategies and market analysis. This position involves tracking market data, collaborating with various teams, and preparing detailed reports for C-level executives. The analyst will also be responsible for maintaining a comprehensive database of market information and developing annual property rent budgets, ensuring competitiveness in the student housing sector.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue through effective pricing models and market research and analysis.
  • Track and analyze market data using public data sources, internal data points, and proprietary market surveys.
  • Maintain and update UP's database of market information, including market preleasing and comparable property rents.
  • Handle market pricing for university student housing assets, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with market trends.
  • Collaborate with leasing and marketing teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Develop annual property rent budgets in collaboration with operations and asset management.
  • Prepare detailed reports and present findings to C-level executives.
  • Perform market research, including tracking demand and supply fundamentals of student housing markets.
  • Conduct periodic travel to perform asset and market tours.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-yr college or university.
  • 2-4+ years of related experience in commercial real estate market research, investments, asset management, or financial analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with VP and C-level executives.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including leasing and marketing.
  • Prior experience in pricing analysis, revenue management, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
