About the position

The Revenue Management Analyst position at Mohegan Sun is responsible for developing expertise in Strategic Marketing policies and executing pricing and availability strategies to maximize profitability across hotel, arena, and special event inventories. The role involves maintaining performance reports, conducting analysis, and collaborating with the marketing team to optimize revenue generation.

Responsibilities

  • Execute processes and models to maximize profitability of Mohegan Sun's room inventory through pricing and market mix adjustments.
  • Maximize profitability of arena and casino special events by manipulating availability.
  • Operate automation tools such as Duetto.
  • Perform displacement analysis of casino/transient guests against Group Sales contributions.
  • Collect competitive intelligence data relevant to responsibilities.
  • Participate in meetings to review event and hotel criteria with marketing executives and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with controls to safeguard information and financial assets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • One year of experience as a Financial Analyst or Marketing Analyst, or two years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, reporting tools, and SQL.
  • Intermediate financial modeling and analysis skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Mohegan Sun corporate and department policies and procedures.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Strategic Marketing software applications (e.g., Duetto).
  • Intermediate knowledge of Property Management Systems (e.g., Lodging Management System).
  • Intermediate knowledge of Casino Management Systems (e.g., Bally's ACSC).
