About the position

As part of the Revenue Integrity team, the Revenue Management Analyst is responsible for providing assistance in maintaining systems, processes, and workflows for the timely and accurate recording of system revenue in regards to charge capture. This position supports department manager education, implementation support, and serves as a facility liaison to the United Health Services staff as it relates to charge master and billing system issues. The analyst will develop collaborative relationships with various departments including Revenue Cycle, Health Information Management/Coding, Pharmacy, Materials Management, Clinical Operations, and Compliance. In addition to these responsibilities, the Revenue Management Analyst is tasked with creating and distributing reports related to revenue capture to all stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure no revenue leakage or misallocation occurs. At the request of the Charge Capture Manager, Revenue Cycle leadership, or operational stakeholders, the analyst will perform deeper data analysis to investigate the root cause of any revenue shifts. This role is crucial in ensuring that the revenue cycle operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • An Associate Degree in a relevant field or 3-5 years of demonstrated competency in data analysis and problem solving in a comparable environment.
  • Familiarity with MS Office technology suite, with high-level proficiency in Excel.
  • Advanced communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Epic experience or certifications in Resolute Hospital or Professional Billing.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, healthcare, or a similar field.
