About the position

The position involves working within the Service organization at Varian, a Siemens Healthineers Company, to develop business strategies and processes aimed at enhancing project execution and converting customer backlog orders into revenue. The role requires collaboration with various internal and external functions, acting as a liaison between customers and project managers, and analyzing complex business problems to provide insights for decision-making. The incumbent will also be responsible for creating forecasts, recommendations, and strategic plans based on data analysis, while contributing to the development of tools for revenue acceleration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop business strategies, structures, and processes to enhance project execution.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and Installation Project Managers.
  • Drive projects to execution and accelerate the conversion of backlog to revenue.
  • Analyze complex business problems using data from internal and external sources.
  • Identify trends and patterns in datasets to provide insights to decision-makers.
  • Construct forecasts and strategic plans based on business data and market knowledge.
  • Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to address business issues and produce datasets for analysis.
  • Perform long-range planning and analysis to accelerate project execution.
  • Interface directly with customers to determine options for revenue acceleration.
  • Create and maintain a tracking process with forecast numbers to accelerate project execution.
  • Conduct analysis of customer open backlog and evaluate opportunities for acceleration.
  • Initiate and analyze strategic market share assessments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 5 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of related experience.
  • Comprehensive professional know-how in the Medical Device Sales customer journey.
  • Ability to link multiple key knowledge areas with high professional competence.
  • Strong analytical skills for market intelligence management.
  • Proficient in business tools such as E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product.

  • Capital healthcare equipment product skills with clinical and technical knowledge.
  • Understanding of capital planning and construction processes in healthcare.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range from $80,900 to $145,500 based on experience and location.
