About the position

Instructure is seeking a high-performing Revenue Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in collaborating closely with the Renewal leadership team to execute all aspects of their strategic initiatives. The Revenue Operations Analyst will be responsible for delivering relevant analytics and actionable insights that will inform and enhance the performance and processes of the team. The successful candidate will ensure that business initiatives are meticulously planned, tracked, and guided by data, thereby contributing to the operational success of these initiatives. To excel in this position, a strong understanding of the customer lifecycle and the internal business units that drive sales, renewals, and customer success is essential. This includes familiarity with their structures, processes, and key performance metrics. The Revenue Operations Analyst will partner with Revenue Operations and Customer Experience (CX) leaders to design performance targets and operational strategies, deploy quotas, build workflows, and allocate resources effectively. The role will also involve tracking key metrics such as net and gross retention rates, regional coverage, customer health, and likelihood to renew, as well as conducting account-level analyses. Additionally, the analyst will perform analyses to support executive presentations for Instructure's C-level audience, including board meetings and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) or executive business reviews (EBRs). Leading the weekly health forecast cadence with renewal managers and leaders will be a critical responsibility. The analyst will build and maintain reports and dashboards using tools such as Google Sheets, Tableau, and Salesforce.com, providing insights into current performance and assisting business leaders in their daily operations. Curating and managing data sources in the data warehouse, in collaboration with data engineering, will also be part of the role, ensuring the certification of primary data sources. The analyst will conduct ad hoc analyses across multiple data sets and work closely with Product Analytics and Customer Success Operations to optimize renewal processes, systems, and data inputs. A professional demeanor, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency to achieve outcomes and exceed expectations are vital for success in this role.
