About the position

The Revenue Operations Analyst at MicroStrategy plays a crucial role in supporting the North American Sales Operations function. This position focuses on providing operational support to the sales team, enhancing communication and processes, and ensuring data accuracy across various sales systems. The analyst will work closely with management and key stakeholders to improve sales processes and support revenue contract execution, all while being based in the Tysons Corner, VA office four days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between field sales and corporate to provide operational support.
  • Assist in developing responses and solutions to global sales requests, including informational and analytical requests.
  • Create effective communication plans to deliver performance information relative to forecasts and KPIs.
  • Develop advanced knowledge of in-house data sources and systems for data extraction and analysis.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve sales processes, including qualification and opportunity lifecycle management.
  • Review and analyze solutions with Sales, Sales Management, Legal, and Revenue Recognition, providing guidance on deal structure and identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Become an expert in MSTR's Salesforce.com instance and Clari to support sales effectively.
  • Develop knowledge of MicroStrategy's licensing model and pricing to assist with quoting support.
  • Respond to requests for proposals and information from current and prospective customers.
  • Own revenue contract execution for the supported Sales team and work on process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 1 year of professional experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail and resourcefulness
  • Strong skills in MS Excel and Word
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Familiarity with sales support systems
  • Experience with MSTR Analytics or other BI/Data Mining tools is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and Clari forecasting is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A consistently positive presence
