About the position

Ontic Technologies is seeking a Revenue Operations Analyst to join our Operations team. This role can be performed remotely or based in Austin, TX, and will report directly to the VP of Revenue Operations. As a Revenue Operations Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting various strategic and tactical projects that are essential for the growth and efficiency of our operations. Your responsibilities will include territory design, account scoring, forecasting, attainment analysis, productivity modeling, sales engagement processes, pipeline management, and annual planning. This position is critical in providing actionable insights on the activities of our Go-To-Market (GTM) teams, which encompass sales, customer success, sales development representatives (SDRs), and marketing. Your insights will inform decision-making and help drive the business towards scalable growth. In this role, you will become an expert in our key business metrics, including Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), bookings, renewal rates, pipeline, conversion rates, and net dollar expansion. You will prepare regular reports and presentations that highlight business results and key trends, enabling the leadership team to understand our progress towards goals, identify risks, and recognize successes that can be replicated. Additionally, you will develop and maintain analyses related to revenue operations, helping our RevOps, GTM, and executive leadership teams understand performance, business trends, and areas for improvement. You will also evaluate existing processes and make recommendations for improvements to enhance efficiency and support future growth. Your role will involve supporting the annual planning process by creating and maintaining a planning framework, defining territories, establishing productivity metrics, evaluating targets, and understanding growth levers. Furthermore, you will build processes and maintain data to ensure a single source of truth for all critical data points necessary for providing business insights and measuring performance. This position requires a versatile business analyst who can support critical reporting and analyses across the GTM functions.

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert in all critical business metrics tied to marketing, sales, SDRs & customer success (ARR, bookings, renewal rates, pipeline, conversion rates, net dollar expansion, etc).
  • Prepare regular reporting & presentations on business results & key trends to help the leadership team understand how we are tracking to our goals, where there is risk and where there are successes to be replicated.
  • Develop & maintain analyses on all things revenue operations to help RevOps, GTM & our Executive leadership teams understand performance, business trends & areas of opportunity to improve results in the future.
  • Evaluate & make recommendations on improvements to existing processes & cross-functional handoffs to continue to drive efficiency & build for future growth.
  • Support the annual planning process: create & maintain an annual planning framework, define territories, establish productivity metrics, evaluate targets & understand growth levers.
  • Build processes & maintain data to enable a single source of truth to all critical datapoints needed to provide critical business insights & measure performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of Sales, Business, Revenue or GTM Operations experience.
  • Experience using critical revenue operations tools: Forecasting tools (Clari), BI/reporting (DOMO), Sales CRM (SFDC), Microsoft Excel, Google Suite.
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with an eagerness to learn & ability to adapt in a fast-paced SaaS start-up environment.
  • Ability to build complex business analyses & communicate those results in a clear, concise way with relevant & actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with an ability to work cross-functionally & collaborate closely with team members across the organization.
  • Team player mindset with the ability to work independently on often complex & ambitious projects.
