About the position

The Revenue Operations (RevOps) Manager at TAK Communications is responsible for designing and implementing systems that enhance business development opportunities within the telecommunications and construction sectors. This role focuses on integrating data from various sources to improve sales processes, provide insights for management, and support the operations teams in achieving higher deal values. The position is pivotal in transitioning the company to a centralized business development model, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and revise sales, marketing, and pre-construction systems.
  • Understand pre-construction data and business requirements for the CRM (Zoho), modifying it for ease of use and adoption.
  • Assist with the design, architecture, and integration of cost-estimate tools (Bid 2 Win) to associate cost estimates with business development opportunities.
  • Integrate data from core programs to CRM for tracking and accountability of deal outcomes.
  • Examine software that could enhance pre-construction productivity, such as RFP automation and marketing automation software.
  • Establish and maintain a transparent and clean sales pipeline.
  • Provide training, access, and support for teams to enter and maintain new business opportunities.
  • Monitor and maintain updated opportunity records from business development and pre-construction resources.
  • Proactively work with pre-construction and field teams to collect updates on stagnant deals.
  • Provide weekly reports and dashboards to leadership to understand the current funnel and necessary actions.
  • Build a lead management system and design a process to provide ROAS on marketing initiatives.
  • Understand lead sources and systems required to enter leads into the CRM.
  • Upload leads from tradeshows into the system for tracking.
  • Set up reports and dashboards to understand pipeline contributions and bookings based on lead sources.
  • Deliver insights to sales leadership to optimize future marketing spend.
  • Provide market and opportunity insights to the Strategic sales team and local operations offices.
  • Leverage market study data to prioritize strategic accounts and deliver high-opportunity local accounts to business development resources.
  • Track current government funding and distribute news to business development and local operations leadership.
  • Enter market opportunities as leads in the system and ensure follow-up on funding opportunities.
  • Enable and train the Pre-Construction team to adopt and utilize CRM and other systems consistently.
  • Create a training program for pre-construction and business development teams to leverage CRM effectively.
  • Build a Zoho/CRM onboarding program with certification requirements for future users.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in revenue operations, business analytics, or a similar role required; leadership experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field.
  • CRM administration certifications are a plus.
  • History of administering/managing CRM and CPQ systems within a sales organization (Zoho CRM, Bid 2 Win).
  • Preferred background in construction/telecom or a related market.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with management and leadership.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation purposes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience scaling an organization through process improvement and system design.
  • Comfortable conducting data entry and revisions with CRM systems.
  • Experience managing end-to-end marketing, sales, and cost-estimate systems.
  • Ability to provide guidance to third-party integrators for future acquisitions.
  • Experience in a dynamic and fast-paced culture, particularly in Private Equity.
