The ROPS SQL Developer role is a critical position within the organization, responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of business-critical backend databases, ETL workflows, and VBA applications. This role is essential for ensuring that the data needs of the Revenue Operations (ROPS) team are met in a dependable and consistent manner. The SQL Developer will collaborate closely with other members of Team Excelsior, working in a dynamic and collaborative environment to deliver accurate and insightful metrics and information to their partners in ROPS. In this role, the SQL Developer will utilize their experience with various development technologies, including MS Access, SQL Server, SSIS, Oracle, and VBA, to develop backend ETL and workflow processes. They will also be responsible for maintaining the availability, accuracy, and performance of these processes, ensuring that the data feeding Team Excelsior's reporting is reliable and timely. The SQL Developer will exhibit an advanced understanding of the technology platforms and information systems in use, enabling them to run, troubleshoot, and deliver recurring reports on a set schedule. Additionally, the SQL Developer will demonstrate strong business acumen, understanding key business problems related to the revenue cycle processes, and partnering with stakeholders to provide data-driven solutions. Administrative tasks will also be part of the role, including creating and maintaining documentation related to reporting, processes, and training.
