About the position

As the Reverse Supply Chain Solution Analytics Program Manager at Apple, you will be at the forefront of integrating innovative features into our planning and reverse supply chain processes. This role is pivotal in representing planning throughout the product lifecycle, from concept through development and beyond. You will be responsible for developing and applying insights that will enhance our operational strategies and ensure maximum impact across the organization. Your collaboration will span multiple departments including Operations, Sales, Engineering, Finance, Channels, and Business Intelligence, allowing you to work closely with various business owners to optimize reverse supply chain solution operations. In this cross-functional role, you will build, review, and maintain reports, dashboards, and other analytical tools to identify emerging performance trends. You will provide actionable recommendations and work with cross-functional peers to address potential mitigation opportunities and risks. A deep understanding of the impact of operational changes is essential, as is the ability to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in collaboration with regional teams, partners, and the leadership team. Your analytical prowess will be crucial in navigating the complexities of service operations and ensuring that our reverse supply chain processes are efficient and effective. The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of flexibility, supporting multiple projects of varying complexity and priority while managing contending priorities in a data-driven and results-oriented manner. You will be expected to maintain a positive attitude in a high-stress, fast-paced work environment, leveraging standard methodologies and tools available across Apple to improve team efficiency. Your ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Build, review and maintain reports, dashboards and other tools to identify emerging performance trends.
• Provide recommendations and work with cross-functional peers on potential mitigation opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Engineering, Finance, Channels, Business Intelligence and appropriate business owners to define strategies to optimize reverse supply chain solution operations.
• Fully understand the impact of operational changes and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in collaboration with regional teams, partners and the leadership team.
• Track and manage ongoing activities within projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry working experience; service operations experience is a plus.
• Strong experience in reporting, data-driven insights, and ad hoc analysis.
• Extensive experience in analyzing large data sets and conducting ad hoc analysis.
• Excellent knowledge of Tableau.
• Ability to report and present in a clear and concise manner to all levels.
• High degree of flexibility supporting multiple projects of varying complexity and priority.
• Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills with a consistent record of solving complex problems.
• Proven ability to track and manage ongoing activities within a project.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to maintain a positive attitude in high-stress environments.
• Outstanding professional demeanor, resourcefulness, flexibility, and self-motivation.

Nice-to-haves

• Postgraduate degree or MBA.
• Knowledge of SQL and adept at merging data from a variety of sources to generate conclusions through analysis.
