About the position

The Revit Coordinator will play a crucial role in the design team at our Toronto office, focusing on experiential design and signage projects. This position requires a strong background in Revit and BIM software, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with other consultants and architects to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Support experiential design and signage related projects.
• Work to LOD-200 and -300 standards.
• Navigate models to obtain views and extract elevations or unpublished details.
• Create massing models and sign families.
• Design large, suspended signs and free-standing signs.
• Coordinate structural and M&E requirements for signage.
• Create detailed models and import them into Revit.
• Place and tag signs in architectural models.
• Link signs with architectural elements like door frames and lighting.
• Embed information into signs to generate message and sign schedules.
• Conduct clash detection between models.
• Coordinate and create central and shared models with other consultants and architects.
• Create architectural sheets in Revit.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Working knowledge of Revit (version 2023).
• Experience with the BIM360 environment for coordination and file management.
• Familiarity with other BIM software (e.g., ArchiCAD) is an asset.
• Familiarity with 3D software (e.g., Sketchup, AutoCAD, Rhino) is an asset.
• Knowledge of rendering programs (e.g., V-ray, Enscape, Blender) is an asset.
• Ability to train others.
