About the position

Actalent is seeking a full-time Revit Technician to join our dynamic team in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. This position is integral to our Division, which encompasses Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical Engineering. We are looking for a motivated individual who possesses a passion for building structures and has expertise in Revit software. The successful candidate will function as part of a collaborative team to create comprehensive Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical Revit models for various building types. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing construction documents, which include plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and 2D component details that are generated from 3D models. You will also create existing architectural and structural 3D models for building addition and renovation projects, utilizing existing plans and information obtained from field surveys. Coordination of 3D models and drawings with team members and other disciplines is essential, as is revising models and documents based on feedback received during the quality control and quality assurance processes. Additionally, you will perform takeoffs for cost estimates, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in project execution. To be successful in this position, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in Revit to create 3D models of buildings and associated systems. While an Autodesk Revit Certification is preferred, candidates who are willing to obtain this certification upon request will also be considered. The minimum educational requirement includes an associate degree in Architecture/Engineering Technology or a related field, although this requirement may be waived for candidates who exhibit exemplary proficiency in 3D building modeling software. This position can accommodate candidates pursuing professional licensure in Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, or Electrical Engineering, although such licensure is not mandatory. The ability to adapt to existing modeling approaches to maintain company standards and workflows is crucial, as is the capacity to meet established project deadlines through self-discipline, a solid work ethic, and a commitment to supporting team members.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Revit to create 3D models of buildings and building-associated systems.

  • Ability to adapt to existing modeling approaches to maintain company standards and workflows.
  • Strong self-discipline and work ethic to meet project deadlines.

Nice-to-haves
