About the position

The Rewards Operations Analyst at Novo Nordisk plays a crucial role in supporting People Organization (P&O) projects by managing project activities and serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for HR systems. This position involves collaboration with various teams across North America and globally to ensure process alignment and effective execution of HR initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support projects as NA Rewards Operations' point of contact for all NA affiliates for HR systems and future upgrades.
  • Identify and implement improvements that support lean project execution.
  • Engage in process improvement initiatives and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Prepare and report out performance board metrics.
  • Interface with IT to assess potential impacts on downstream systems due to HR system changes.
  • Collaborate with Novo Nordisk DK's HR Solution Center on global system implementations and upgrades.
  • Partner with the P&O Global Business Support unit on system processes and troubleshooting data issues.
  • Provide training to HR system users on various platforms including SAP/HR and Success Factors.
  • Audit and ensure data quality of HR Systems.
  • Generate and distribute complex reports regarding employee pay and benefits.
  • Support annual reporting and analysis for various compliance metrics.
  • Prepare complex employee data for annual salary planning system uploads.
  • Develop high-quality standards and processes for reporting and training.
  • Ensure accurate data feeds to other HR systems during changes or implementations.
  • Serve as point of contact for tier 2 Rewards Operations AskHR tickets.
  • Partner with finance to maintain and reconcile budget and headcount.
  • Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field required.
  • Minimum five years of experience in human resources required.
  • Minimum three years of experience in HR project execution and HR systems implementation required.
  • High attention to detail to ensure data precision and correct analysis conclusions required.
  • Experience in developing reports and maintaining data integrity required.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in human resources information technology required.
  • Ability to train others required.
  • Ability to identify new approaches for continuous improvement required.
  • Proven ability to manage complex organizational changes within HR systems required.
  • Ability to manage interfaces associated with HR systems required.
  • Proven expertise in organizing information for successful reporting and communications required.
  • Ability to collect, review, and analyze data to support management decision-making required.
  • Project management skills required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration preferred.
  • PHR or SPHR certification a plus.
  • SAP/HR and Success Factors experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of compensation and payroll processing preferred.
