About the position
The RF/Analog Circuit Design Co-Op position at Skyworks offers an exciting opportunity for students pursuing a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering to gain hands-on experience in the semiconductor industry. This role focuses on designing RF/Analog circuit blocks and performing evaluations for 5G applications, allowing interns to contribute to key development projects while working alongside a diverse team of experts.
Responsibilities
- Design RF/Analog circuit blocks using Cadence and EMX tools
- Perform lab evaluations of SOIs and modules such as gain, noise figure, and IIP3
- Analyze and debug performance, create compliance matrices, and present results
Requirements
- Currently working towards a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering
- Ability to work onsite for 6 months
- Understands basic semiconductor physics
- Understands RF design and measurement
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Familiar with CAD tools including layout and circuit simulation
- Hands-on RF characterization skill is a plus
