About the position

The RF and Antenna Engineer will lead the development of advanced antenna technologies specifically for Marine and Military applications. This role involves designing, prototyping, implementing, and testing antennas and RF circuits, while collaborating with a team of engineers to bring innovative products to market. The engineer will also engage in electromagnetic simulations and support troubleshooting and certification processes, contributing significantly to communication systems in military environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement antenna products throughout their lifecycle, ensuring high performance standards.
• Conduct laboratory testing and prototyping, iterating designs to enhance functionality and reliability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various engineering teams to define requirements and performance goals.
• Perform electromagnetic simulations to ensure optimal performance for advanced applications in military environments.
• Support EMI and RF troubleshooting efforts and assist in product certification processes.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in antenna design.
• Strong understanding of antenna architectures across multiple frequency bands.
• Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficient in CST Microwave Studio, Ansoft HFSS, and full-wave antenna simulators.
• Experience with RF testing equipment such as VNAs and Spectrum Analyzers.
• Knowledgeable in circuit simulation tools like Keysight ADS.
• Familiar with CAD software for PCB design and prototype creation.
