We are seeking an individual with a strong background in Radio Frequency (RF) environments, particularly with experience in Link 16 within a Test and Engineering (T&E) lab setting. The successful candidate will provide RF support functions for the MIDS Program Office (MPO) and the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific. This role involves performing RF and System Test engineering efforts for MIDS-LVT and JTRS terminals, which includes support for planning, documentation, test conduct, training, and other requirements. The candidate will be responsible for the set-up, activation, operation, and troubleshooting of Navy external communications systems and systems integration efforts. They will execute tests and data analysis in accordance with the test plan guidance and provide support to develop and/or provide input to pre-test and post-test documentation, including Test Plans, Test Procedures, automated scripts, Daily Status Reports (DSR), Quick Look Reports (QLR), and Test Reports. The individual will utilize the resultant data to develop, propose, and implement solutions to any issues that arise during testing. Additionally, the role requires providing operations and troubleshooting expertise in support of test events, including remote support for off-site participants. The candidate will also be expected to travel to CONUS/OCONUS project sites to provide operator and technical support as required. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are essential for effective communication with corporate customers, NIWC Pacific Center's staff, and peer contractor personnel. The candidate must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to generate documentation that presents information logically and clearly.
