About the position

The position involves designing and testing portable, battery-powered handheld devices with embedded wireless radio technologies. The role focuses on electronics RF radio design, schematic design, PCB layout, and conducting various tests to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and test portable, battery-powered handheld devices with embedded wireless radio technologies.
• Perform electronics RF radio design using leading mobile chipset architectures.
• Execute schematic design and PCB layout.
• Conduct electronics testing, optimization, and troubleshooting of products.
• Perform necessary analysis and simulation (RF and embedded Antenna) using computer tools.
• Conduct EMI/EMC testing to verify compliance for regulatory and network operator standards.
• Provide manufacturing support design and production yield assistance leading to mass production ramp-up.
• Perform Antenna impedance and aperture tuner simulation and validation.
• Produce Antenna simulation for various technologies including SAR, GPS, WIFI, NFC, LTE, 5G NR, UWB, and mmW to meet compliance specifications.
• Provide Antenna design solutions for complex antenna architectures.
• Create antenna specifications and test plans for projects.
• Perform radiated antenna OTA measurements and analyze and publish detailed test reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in RF design and testing.
