About the position

The RF/Electrical Integration Technician position at Insight Global in Annapolis Junction, MD, is a critical role within a newly awarded program focused on the development of next-generation superconducting electronics (SCE) and advanced computing technologies. This position requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance with a CI Polygraph and is intended for early-career professionals with at least 2 years of relevant experience. The selected candidates will join a Microelectronics Design and Analysis team, contributing to the Integration and Test team responsible for building and deploying test stands across multiple systems. In this role, technicians will be tasked with setting up, testing, and calibrating fully functional systems in a lab environment. This includes reviewing and implementing engineering drawings to manufacture complex test systems, as well as installing intricate RF assemblies. A strong background in reading and understanding wiring diagrams is essential, as technicians will be required to make connections and route large cable assemblies. Candidates must possess a solid understanding of electronic principles, the ability to wire and assemble circuits, and familiarity with the operation of basic test equipment. The position emphasizes the importance of troubleshooting and repairing electronic test systems, as well as experience in cabling and rack installation for electronic system integration. The ideal candidate will be adaptable to changing priorities and requirements, ensuring that the team meets its objectives efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, test, and calibrate fully functional systems in a lab environment.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph clearance.
  • 2+ years of technical RF/Electrical maintenance, repair, or integration experience.
