About the position

As an RF Engineering Associate Manager at Lockheed Martin, you will lead and coordinate engineering projects for the Special Analysis program, focusing on technical excellence and team development. This role involves managing a team, providing technical coaching, and ensuring adherence to engineering processes while promoting customer focus. You will also be responsible for recruitment, performance assessments, and employee development, with opportunities for telecommuting and travel to customer and supplier sites.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate the planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects for the Special Analysis program.
  • Manage and develop the engineering team, supporting department initiatives and driving technical excellence.
  • Provide technical coaching and mentoring, work assignments, and employee career development.
  • Coordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, and performance assessments.
  • Support program production efforts and ensure adherence to engineering production processes.
  • Promote customer focus and serve as the technical conscience for program areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Experience in RF / Microwave Theory.
  • Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams.
  • Full Lifecycle Development Experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical systems/programs.
  • Self-starter personality with the ability to multitask.
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Control Account Manager (CAM) experience.
  • Earned Value Management experience.
  • Engineering management or team lead experience including task planning and budget management.
  • MS degree in Electrical / RF Engineering or related field.
  • Failure Review Board and Root Cause and Corrective Action Investigation experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
