About the position

Lockheed Martin RMS in Owego, NY is seeking a part-time Summer 2025 Electrical Engineer Intern interested in RF Engineering. This role involves assisting in multi-functional product development for ruggedized military processing solutions, including digital analog, RF, circuit card design, testing, and troubleshooting. The intern will gain hands-on experience in a lab environment, working directly to test and debug military hardware using electrical measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in multi-functional product development for military processing solutions.
• Participate in design and hands-on testing of military hardware.
• Utilize electrical measurement equipment for testing and debugging.
• Collaborate with team members in a lab environment.

Requirements

• Pursuit of a B.S degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, completing Junior year by May 2024.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
• Experience with Electrical Engineering test equipment (e.g., Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Bench Power Supply, Network Analyzer).
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with RF and/or Antenna design, simulation, and testing.
• Familiarity with processor design & architecture.
• Familiarity with MATLAB.
