About the position

The Electrical Engineer position at Raytheon focuses on advancing expertise in digital and RF/Microwave system theory and design. The role involves the design, analysis, integration, and testing of RF components and subsystems, contributing to the development of Radar Receiver, Exciter, and signal processing technologies. The position emphasizes hands-on experience and technical support to production activities, with opportunities for project management and travel to integration sites.

Responsibilities

  • RF/Microwave circuit and sub-system design, modeling, simulation, and verification.
  • Integration and test at component, CCA, and subsystem levels.
  • Transition to production and provide technical support to manufacturing and test engineers.
  • Manage small projects or processes within area of responsibility.
  • Travel to domestic and international integration sites, as well as customer and subcontractor facilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior work experience in RF component analysis, design, and/or test.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting analog and Radio Frequency CCAs.
  • Hands-on experience with design simulation tools such as ADS and Mentor Graphics' Xpedition.
  • Experience with analytical tools such as Matlab or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a laboratory environment using various testing equipment.
