About the position

The RF Power Amplifier Pallet Design Engineer will work within a multi-disciplinary team to develop high power amplifier pallets for Aerospace and Defense applications. This role involves designing, simulating, building, and tuning RF pallet products, ensuring they meet manufacturability requirements and customer specifications. The engineer will collaborate with various teams to optimize designs and document products for high volume production.

Responsibilities

• Develop single and multi-stage RF pallet products for the Aerospace and Defense market.
• Design, simulate, build, and tune high power amplifier pallets for A&D applications.
• Work with assembly teams to ensure first prototypes meet manufacturability requirements.
• Test to ensure customer specifications are satisfied.
• Collaborate with the Transistor design team to optimize GaN high power amplifiers for customer specific applications.
• Document, characterize, and release pallet products for high volume production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar field.
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience designing high efficiency power amplifiers.
• Experience in advanced high power RF measurements.
• Experience using ADS or AWR RF simulation tools and AutoCAD for mechanical design.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with strong planning and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
