As an RF System Integration Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in the design and validation of RF and wireless systems for a range of Apple products, including iPhones, Watches, and iPads. Collaboration will be key in this role, as you will work closely with chipset manufacturers, test equipment vendors, and our in-house antenna and RF hardware design teams. Together, you will analyze wireless performance data and address the technical challenges involved in deploying groundbreaking wireless features with impeccable quality. To succeed in this role, you will need a solid foundation in wireless systems and communications theory, as well as sound programming practices. Your contributions will help ensure that our systems deliver the most efficient and consistent wireless performance across all of Apple's products, even in large volumes. Responsibilities

• Engage in the design validation for different wireless technologies from prototyping to mass production.
• Design calibration routines and test algorithms for RF systems.
• Contribute to a multi-faceted test software suite.
• Collaborate with chipset manufacturers and test equipment vendors.
• Work with in-house antenna and RF hardware design teams to analyze wireless performance data.
• Tackle technical challenges to deploy wireless features with high quality.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2 years of industrial experience in RF/Wireless Industry (Consumer Products/Semiconductors/Aerospace).
• Intuitive understanding of RF Transceiver Blocks, Communications theory, and RF Parameters.
• Familiarity with RF/wireless test equipment and associated RF measurements.
• Ability to read and write clean, efficient code in programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.

Nice-to-haves

• MSEE is preferred.
• 5+ years of industry experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and scalable software design principles.
• Recent experience in developing test solutions for wireless RF standards (e.g., WiFi 802.11xx, Bluetooth 5.0, 5G, NFC, UWB).
• Familiarity with tools for high volume manufacturing of wireless technologies.
• Ability to break down complex problems and evaluate tradeoffs between proposed solutions.
• Energy and aim to thrive in a start-up like environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
