About the position
WVU Medicine is seeking a Rheumatologist to join the medical team at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV. This outpatient position offers the opportunity to impact the health of a diverse patient community, with the option for inpatient care. The role includes performing minor procedures and managing a daily patient volume of 14-16.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient care to patients with rheumatological conditions.
- Perform minor procedures such as small joint injections.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals including one APP.
- Manage an average daily patient volume of 14-16 patients.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Ability to obtain a West Virginia state medical license and DEA registration upon hire.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Rheumatology.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency.
