About the position

The RIA Regional Consultant (Internal Wholesaler) at Brookfield Asset Management is responsible for sales, support, and service of Financial Intermediary partners in their assigned region. This role focuses on promoting Brookfield Oaktree Wealth Solutions' investment vehicles, including private funds and mutual funds, through proactive relationship-building and effective territory management. The consultant's performance is measured by fund flows, assets under management, and client retention, contributing to the overall national sales effort.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with RIA firms and trust banks through high-quality, pro-active interactions.
  • Articulate Brookfield Oaktree Wealth Solutions' sophisticated products effectively.
  • Handle daily territory management tasks to ensure business efficacy and effective prioritization of resources.
  • Utilize the CRM system to log all client activity.
  • Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Show passion for capital markets and alternative investments.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic, high integrity, and values.
  • Be motivated to achieve success and grow with the firm.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an internal sales associate in the financial services industry.
  • Series 7 and 63 licensed.
  • CAIA, MBA, or CFA is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and resourceful.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and results orientation.

Nice-to-haves

  • CAIA, MBA, CFA designations are preferred.
