The Ride Accessibility Team Member at Dollywood Parks & Resorts plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for guests with accessibility needs. This position focuses on assisting guests in planning their day at the park, providing detailed information about rides and attractions, and ensuring safety compliance. Responsibilities

• Assist Guests with accessibility needs at the Ride Accessibility Center with empathy and respect.
• Communicate and enforce safety rules, ensuring Guests understand and comply with ride safety procedures.
• Fill out boarding passes and review the process with Guests.
• Follow centralized measuring guidelines for guests requiring assistance.
• Measure children in wheelchairs who are unable to stand.
• Assist guests with disabilities in using rides, including fitting harnesses as needed.
• Operate office equipment such as phones, two-way radios, and computers.
• Prepare documentation and reports using Microsoft Office for daily records.
• Maintain a clean and stocked work area at all times.
• Familiarize oneself with all areas of the park, including accessibility entrances.
• React calmly and quickly in stressful or emergency situations.
• Initiate friendly interactions with guests.
• Work varying hours and in different areas as needed, including attractions.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Report any safety standard violations.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Office.
• At least one year of experience positively resolving guest/customer complaints preferred.
• Experience interacting positively with multiple operational teams preferred.
• Working knowledge of ride operations preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of ADA standards preferred.
• Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Nice-to-haves

• Demonstrate working knowledge of theater usher operations preferred but not required.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Dollywood property layout preferred.
