About the position

The Rig Up Operator at TETRA Technologies, Inc. is responsible for assisting in the preparation, installation, and servicing of well testing equipment. This role emphasizes safety, environmental consciousness, and compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations. The operator will work closely with supervisors to ensure that all tasks meet customer standards and contribute to the company's positive image.

Responsibilities

• Learn basic well testing equipment and service operations
• Assist in preparation of equipment for installation and service
• Assist in the Rig up and Rig Down of a job and in the cleanup, repair, and preparation of the equipment for the next job
• Notify the Supervisor in charge of any problems observed related to the work
• Promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness, ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and guidelines
• Conduct daily JSEA to ensure all personnel understand their tasks and associated risks for safe work performance
• Provide positive and proactive service for the customer, ensuring tasks meet or exceed customer standards
• Ensure systems are developed with commitment to consultation and participation with employees to identify, assess, monitor, review, and control HSEQ impacts
• Support and participate in the organization's Quality Management System to conform to ISO 9001 requirements

• High School Degree or General Education Degree (GED)
• 0-2 years' experience
