About The Position

MEI Rigging & Crating is offering a Rigger Apprenticeship Program designed for individuals interested in starting a career in the skilled trades. This program provides hands-on training and development in rigging and machinery moving, essential for working in various industrial environments. Participants will learn core rigging skills and gain proficiency in the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for success in the industry. The program includes physical training, assessments, and a commitment to safety and professionalism.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Commitment to learning and completing all program requirements.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel for training seminars.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a physically demanding job.
• Interest in mechanical work and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Complete all assignments, tasks, and assessments required by the apprenticeship program.
• Participate in six bi-monthly, 3-day seminars throughout the year.
• Work in a highly functioning team environment.
• Communicate openly and strive for peak performance in daily tasks.
