About the position
The Right of Way Assistant Project Manager at ORC is responsible for assisting in the management of complex, federally funded public sector Right of Way projects. This role involves overseeing project execution, managing budgets, and ensuring timely reporting while building relationships with clients and vendors. The position requires strong leadership skills to manage a team and support business development efforts, all while maintaining a flexible work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing complex Right of Way projects.
- Perform acquisition and relocation activities.
- Work alongside the Project Manager and clients to ensure project execution.
- Track and monitor project budgets and financial requirements.
- Build relationships with key vendors and agencies.
- Pursue new business development opportunities.
- Support recruiting efforts for the team.
- Manage a team of direct reports and ensure project stays on schedule.
- Provide quality feedback and coaching to staff.
- Delegate tasks effectively to ensure project success.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of Right of Way experience.
- Experience utilizing the Uniform Relocation Act.
- Minimum of three years of management experience in a related field such as lending, construction, or real estate.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to upload and edit documents in a shared online database.
- Must have an iOS or Android smartphone for system access.
- Valid Driver's License.
