Responsibilities

• Provides technical and operational supervision to a section of professionals in a technical discipline area.
• Ensures the technical, administrative, direct labor, and schedule targets for the section are met.
• Responsible for the management, performance, growth, and professional development of the discipline-specific section.
• Coordinates section activities, establishes priorities, and assigns staff to jobs.
• Builds strong client relationships with new and existing clients to generate opportunities for new work.
• Recruits, hires, develops, and retains section staff, including developing plans for performance and compensation reviews, and succession.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 8 years of practical experience including 2 years of leadership experience.
• In lieu of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in land survey or civil engineering
• 10 years of practical experience in right of way
• 2 years of supervisory experience.
