About the position

The RISE Mentorship Program is designed for new or recent veterinary school graduates, providing a structured transition from academia to clinical practice. Participants will engage in a rotational, immersive experience, practicing medicine under the guidance of experienced mentors while managing their own caseload. The program offers options for either a 6-month rotational mentorship or a 3-month focused mentorship, culminating in a one-year contract for continued full-time employment with ongoing mentor support.

Responsibilities

• Practice medicine and manage your own caseload under the guidance of a mentor.
• Participate in a rotational mentorship program, choosing between general practice (GP) and emergency (ER) rotations.
• Engage with a nationwide cohort for peer mentorship and networking opportunities.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in veterinary medicine (DVM/VMD).
