About The Position

The Risk Advisor at Gramoll & Associates Inc. is responsible for marketing, prospecting, and selling American Family Insurance products across various lines. This role focuses on building and maintaining customer relationships, identifying customer needs, and enhancing brand visibility through community involvement. The Risk Advisor aims to achieve sales, profitability, and service targets while providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Must obtain required insurance licenses (Property, Casualty, and Life) as per state regulations.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong sales and customer service experience.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other digital platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of insurance concepts and principles.
  • Proven multi-line insurance sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop expertise in local market dynamics to identify business opportunities.
  • Use consultative sales techniques to attract new customers and grow the agency's client base.
  • Cross-sell and coordinate with team members to expand coverage for existing clients.
  • Generate new business leads via cold calls, networking, trade shows, and other channels.
  • Close sales by preparing quotes, delivering presentations, and securing applications.
  • Adhere to underwriting guidelines and consult appropriate divisions as needed.
  • Conduct customer appointments for sales and coverage reviews.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Build and nurture community contacts to boost agency visibility and generate new business.
  • Represent the agency at events that promote brand awareness and educate potential customers.
  • Stay current in insurance industry trends, products, underwriting requirements, and sales techniques.
