About the position

As a Property Graduate at McDonald's Australia, you will play a vital role in supporting the National Development Group (NDG) Property Team, which is responsible for the strategy and execution of acquiring, developing, and maintaining a portfolio of over 1000 restaurants across Australia. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in a comprehensive two-year program that includes rotations within the NDG Property Team, allowing you to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of property management and development. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing designs and obtaining relevant planning approvals, conducting property analysis functions, and performing demographic studies to inform decision-making. You will also be involved in the preparation of Letters of Offers and contract reviews, managing financial feasibility assessments, and engaging in industry networking to build valuable connections. Additionally, you will prepare briefs and board packages for internal stakeholder approval and manage relationships with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. This role is designed for individuals who are curious, resilient, and not afraid to ask questions. You will be expected to be results-driven, with the ability to meet goals and deliver on business plan objectives. Strong decision-making, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with sound judgment and attention to detail. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint, is also required to succeed in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Complete rotations in the National Development Group (NDG) Property Team over 2 years.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Property.
  • Prior exposure to portfolio/assessment management and design or relevant industry experience in property, law, planning, engineering, or project management.
  • Curious and resilient, not afraid to ask questions.
  • Results-driven individual with the ability to meet goals and deliver business plan objectives.
  • Strong decision-making, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with sound judgment and attention to detail.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint.
