About The Position
This position functions as a risk analyst in the DTMB Central Procurement Division. This analyst manages the day-to-day risk management operations and conducts research and analysis in support of the State's Enterprise Risk Management Program. This position will coordinate with the section specialist in monitoring claims, revenues, and expenditures of the vehicle self-insurance program; drafting risk assessments; attending settlement hearings and facilitations on behalf of the State with authority to settle up to $200,000; maintaining and monitoring insurance policies and claims; providing technical advice and liaison activities to the state's third party administrator, insurance broker, state agencies, and the public for the state's vehicle fleet self-insurance program and the property, general liability and other non-employee benefit insurance programs.
