About the position

The Risk and Compliance Manager at RVR Management Company is responsible for developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations. This role involves monitoring compliance, providing training to employees, conducting risk assessments, and investigating any allegations of non-compliance. The manager will also maintain documentation related to compliance activities and serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Creating and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
• Regularly monitoring the organization's operations for compliance with internal policies and external laws.
• Providing training and education to employees about compliance requirements.
• Conducting risk assessments to identify potential non-compliance areas and developing mitigation strategies.
• Investigating allegations of non-compliance, including violations of company policies or regulatory requirements.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities.
• Conducting regular audits and reviews of the organization's compliance efforts.
• Serving as a point of contact for regulatory agencies and auditors on compliance matters.
• Updating policies and procedures in response to changes in laws and regulations.
• Promoting a culture of compliance and ensuring ethical standards are upheld.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience as a Compliance and Risk Manager in a corporate environment.
• Preferred retail automotive experience but not necessary.
• H.R. and legal background.
• Superior communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent follow-through skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Maintaining a positive, can-do attitude.
