About the position
The Risk and Compliance Principle Lead for Global Business Strategy at Google is responsible for developing and maintaining the risk and compliance program for the Global Business Organization (GBO). This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance with policies and regulations, while also identifying and addressing gaps in existing frameworks. The position aims to make risk and compliance a competitive advantage for GBO, driving impactful initiatives across a global operation.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to developing, shaping, and maintaining the risk and compliance program for the Global Business Organization.
- Collaborate with second line teams on control design, training, and awareness initiatives.
- Build and execute a consistent approach to identifying and assessing risk.
- Communicate findings and progress to senior leadership with executive-ready updates.
- Influence and build working relationships with cross-functional partners and senior executives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in compliance, risk management, investigation, auditing, legal, or consulting.
Nice-to-haves
- MBA or graduate degree in a technical, quantitative, or business field.
- Knowledge of regulations impacting the ads industry.
- Ability to promote a healthy risk culture and enable change across organizations.
- Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills.
