About the position

The Risk and Compliance Principle Lead at Google is responsible for developing and maintaining the risk and compliance program for the Global Business Organization (GBO). This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations while promoting a healthy risk culture. The position requires proactive identification of compliance gaps and the implementation of innovative solutions to safeguard Google's operations in a dynamic ads ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to developing, shaping, and maintaining the risk and compliance program for the Global Business Organization.
• Collaborate with second line teams on control design, training, and awareness initiatives to ensure compliance with policy requirements.
• Build and execute a consistent approach to identifying and assessing risk across the organization.
• Communicate findings and progress to senior leadership with executive-ready updates and provide timely updates on urgent issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in compliance, risk management, investigation, auditing, legal, or consulting.
• Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
