About the position

The Risk Associate in Business Continuity Risk Management (BCRM) at Capital One plays a crucial role in supporting the governance and oversight of business continuity practices. This position focuses on ensuring that the organization can effectively respond to and recover from business disruptions. The Risk Associate will be responsible for systems administration activities related to business continuity plans, requiring a deep understanding of BCRM methodologies and system configurations.

Responsibilities

• Providing user support through monitoring, investigating, and addressing user questions.
• Gathering and managing system change requests, including maintaining and helping prioritize the backlog of user change requests.
• Monitoring and managing system access requests.
• Communicating and reporting on user questions and concerns, configuration backlog priorities, and system access status.
• Looking for opportunities to continuously improve system administration processes and user interactions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
• At least 1 year of system administration experience or application help desk experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 2 years of experience in Business Process Management or Project Management
• At least 2 years of system administration experience or application help desk experience.
