About the position

The Risk & Compliance Analyst at Highmark Health plays a crucial role in supporting risk and compliance assessment activities across various frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, PCI, HIPAA, and others. This position requires collaboration with organizational risk partners, technology teams, and global delivery teams to ensure compliance with enterprise risk appetite while maintaining a proactive approach in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

  • Completes assessment activities according to various frameworks to identify, assess, prioritize, evaluate, and address compliance and risk areas.
  • Schedules and follows up on risk questionnaires and assessments to ensure timely completion for compliance requirements.
  • Assists in training and mentoring less experienced team members on engagements and authoritative guidance interpretation.
  • Delivers risk assessments to internal and external contacts and assists with the review of inherent risk assessment results.
  • Documents and interprets complex data flow and information sharing activities into simplified terminology and process flows.
  • Maintains enterprise supplier risk management reporting dashboards in RSA Archer applications.
  • Assists with preparation of project plans to support risk assessment and decision-making processes.
  • Collaborates with various teams to align risk management objectives and practices.
  • Maintains departmental procedures, assessment methodologies, and training materials.
  • Interfaces with business areas and third parties to execute cross-functional risk assurance projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration/Management, Information Technology, Pre-Law, or related field.
  • 1 year in Audit and Compliance, including Business Process Design and Project Management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration/Management, Information Technology, Pre-Law, or related field.
  • Experience in Third Party Risk Assessment.
  • Certifications such as CPA, CISA, CIPP, or CISSP.
