About The Position

The Risk & Compliance Specialist at Global Payments is responsible for supporting payment network compliance, implementing issuing card programs, and overseeing daily operations for issuer processing in the electronic payments space. This role requires extensive experience in the payments industry, particularly in card processing platforms, and involves managing complex projects that impact the business significantly. The ideal candidate will work closely with payment brands and clients to ensure compliance with established requirements and will serve as the main point of contact between TSYS and the payment networks.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5-7 years of professional related experience in the payments industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of payment brand product implementations and compliance processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Current or previous TSYS experience is a plus.
• Experience in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead non-routine, complex projects with significant scope and impact to the business.
• Support new client conversions or existing client launches of new scheme products.
• Review and interpret card brand documentation for applicability to TSYS processing platforms.
• Identify scheme certification needs and support the program throughout certification activities.
• Review completion of scheme paperwork impacting TSYS processing.
• Analyze program scope and identify potential issues or risks.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders.
• Manage interactions and escalations between TSYS and the payment networks.
• Lead training and prepare informational presentations.
