About the position

The Risk Consulting - Digital Risk ITGC Staff position at EY involves supporting clients in developing, implementing, and modernizing their IT compliance programs. The role focuses on addressing the evolving risk and technology landscape, ensuring clients can build confidence and trust with their customers and comply with regulations. The position requires collaboration with clients and team members to enhance IT processes and controls, with a mix of in-person and remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as a fieldwork team member for engagements to help clients develop and strengthen their IT compliance programs.
  • Review clients' IT processes and controls, remediate and implement controls, and onboard new tools and services into compliance frameworks.
  • Assist with readiness and adherence for new compliance regulations.
  • Collaborate with onshore and offshore team members to plan engagements, develop project plans, and manage project health.
  • Complete daily progress of fieldwork, inform supervisors and client stakeholders of engagement status, and escalate challenges as necessary.
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills and inspire teamwork to meet or exceed expectations.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's or master's degree.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as an IT auditor or IT risk adviser in a public accounting firm, professional services firm, or within industry.
  • Experience in financial statement audits, internal or operational audits, Service Organization Controls Reporting engagements, or ERP security and control reviews.
  • Availability to travel outside of assigned office location at least 20% of the time.

Nice-to-haves

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • CPA, CA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CBCP, CIA, CIPP, CGEIT certification is desired.
