About the position

The Risk Control Senior Professional is responsible for providing comprehensive risk consulting services aimed at assisting in writing and retaining profitable business. This role involves conducting consultations with customers to identify gaps in risk management, performing risk surveys, and gathering feedback to support effective underwriting decisions. The position requires independent management of various assignments and responsibilities while maintaining strong relationships with customers and agents.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of risk evaluation and consulting services to meet department service level agreements with limited supervision.
• Conduct consultations with customers to identify operational risks and prioritize opportunities for risk management.
• Perform field and virtual interactions to complete risk surveys and gather customer feedback.
• Utilize technology platforms and information sources to respond to underwriting and customer needs.
• Collaborate with underwriting to prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations for business partners.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of industry best practices, codes, standards, and legislative issues.
• Control claims costs by creating recommendations aligned with industry best practices.
• Participate in agency visits and marketing interactions to achieve business unit objectives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Risk Management or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record that conforms to company standards (for field roles).
