Your responsibilities will include working on cross-functional projects across investigations, analytics, and risk management, navigating complexity, and driving impact. You will investigate sensitive escalations, enforce TikTok Shop policies, and conduct root cause analyses on problematic trends. Additionally, you will dive into user behavior to identify abnormalities and develop regulations and risk control strategies based on business requirements. This role requires a keen eye for industry trends and the ability to continuously optimize relevant processes.

Responsibilities

  • Work on cross-functional projects across the investigations, analytics, and risk management ecosystem, navigating complexity and driving impact.
  • Build requirements and partner with Product to launch solutions.
  • Investigate sensitive and critical escalations, review and enforce our strategies and TikTok Shop policies, considering rules, business impact, and local market conditions.
  • Be a subject matter expert on the Creator and Content landscape and an authoritative voice cross-functionally.
  • Conduct root cause analyses on problematic trends/escalations and drive solutions.
  • Dive into the business and analyze user behavior to identify abnormal user behavior.
  • Develop regulations, models, and risk control strategies on content violations based on business requirements.
  • Pay close attention to industry trends, collect and present useful information, and continuously optimize relevant processes.

Requirements

  • Strong ability to analyze, manipulate, and identify insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Experience with analytical tools (like Excel or SQL) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing projects and coordinating with different cross-functional regional partners.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate successfully with ambiguity and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA degree
  • 2+ years of hands-on and in-depth experience in e-commerce governance and implementation, analytics, online operations and escalation environment, social media operations, and/or research.
