About the position

As a Vice President, Business Manager within the Risk Management & Compliance (RM&C) CFO organization at JPMorgan Chase, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the firm's Chief Risk Officer and RM&C Chief Financial Officer. This position is integral to the strategic partnership and advisory functions within the Risk and Compliance organization. Your expertise will help the firm grow its business responsibly by anticipating new and emerging risks, and using your expert judgment to solve real-world challenges that impact the company, customers, and communities. In this role, you will be responsible for ongoing governance and discipline on direct and allocated expenses, technology investment governance, real estate management, program management, intelligent solution delivery, executive reporting, and strategic change initiatives that cut across RM&C. You will operate as a key advisor, supporting senior leaders in shaping and executing their strategic visions. Your ability to craft compelling narratives through clear and engaging executive-level presentations on diverse topics will be essential. You will also be tasked with constructing multi-year budgets and managing associated costs and staffing, as well as conceptualizing and implementing strategies for employee recruitment, development, and engagement. Building connections, influencing, and negotiating with a wide array of cross-functional stakeholders including Finance, HR, Employee Learning and Development, and Technology will be a critical part of your responsibilities. The position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for 60% office presence and 40% remote work, providing flexibility while promoting in-office collaboration.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a chief of staff, business manager or communications professional
  • Highly proficient analytical capabilities with a keen ability to deep dive into data and convey the story in a simple, understandable, and compelling manner
  • Strong natural leader and role model with exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decisions and provide clear messaging across all organizational levels
  • Exceptional judgment, problem-solving skills, and resourcefulness
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive results independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint and strong familiarity with Teams for effective collaboration and presentation
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equitable experience)
