About the position

As a Risk Management - Corporate Risk Control Manager - Vice-President at JPMorgan Chase, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the control framework for the Risk Management and Compliance Chief Data Office and Risk Reporting & Middle Office teams. This position involves fostering relationships with global business partners to promote early operational risk identification and assessment, ensuring effective design and evaluation of controls, and implementing sustainable solutions to mitigate operational risk. You will lead the execution of the Control and Operational Risk Evaluation framework, analyze risk and control data, and provide regular updates to senior management on the control environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support execution of the Control and Operational Risk Evaluation framework through process analysis.
  • Verify controls are properly designed and operating effectively.
  • Perform ongoing analysis of risk and control program related data to identify and resolve issues.
  • Assess the impact of new or updated internal policies and technology solutions on processes.
  • Analyze recurring control weaknesses and monitor results and trends.
  • Evaluate, analyze, and track issues and action plans to verify progress.
  • Lead review preparation and remediation efforts for Regulatory, Second Line, and Internal Audit exams.
  • Partner effectively with colleagues across the firm, including Business Operations, Risk, Audit, Legal, and Technology.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on the control environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in Control Management, Audit, Data Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate confident leadership with sound judgment and the ability to multi-task under pressure.
  • Robust analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills with keen attention to detail.
  • High degree of initiative and self-direction, adaptable to shifting priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including influencing and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
