About the position

The Risk Management Executive I at Bank of America is responsible for providing comprehensive risk oversight and guidance to the Lines of Business (LOB). This role involves establishing risk management policies, conducting risk framework activities, and ensuring adherence to corporate standards. The executive will also oversee the governance structure for risk management and may manage a team to develop risk analyses and reports, ensuring effective risk management practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead Enterprise Issue Portfolio Analyses to identify trends, risks, and process improvement opportunities.
• Act as a subject matter advisor to senior management within the remit of Enterprise Issue Management (EIM).
• Report and escalate patterns and trends related to the Enterprise Issue Portfolio to senior management and relevant governance committees.
• Collaborate with colleagues to understand issues, root causes, and events that may lead to company-wide issues.
• Maintain and develop process level procedures and guidelines for governance over Enterprise Issue Analyses.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the financial services industry with a strong understanding of financial products and services.
• Demonstrated executive presence and ability to communicate effectively at the executive level.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive desired outcomes.
• Proven ability to manage portfolios of high-quality deliverables according to strict timetables.
• Significant knowledge of risk management and regulatory interactions.
