About the position

As the Risk Management Framework Coordinator Level 3 at Applied Insight, you will play a crucial role in integrating risk management activities into the system life cycle process. Your primary responsibility will be to perform and complete organizational and management tasks that support government cyber mission efforts. This includes managing information security, systems, and enclave risk across the organization. You will be tasked with overseeing risks, developing risk mitigation plans and strategies, and ensuring that deadlines and progress across Technical Task Orders are met. Your efforts will be vital in ensuring that mission priorities are delivered within budget, efficiently, and on time. In your daily activities, you will coordinate tasks with customer organizations at various levels to implement Risk Management Framework (RMF) services. Effective communication with clients regarding expectations and goals will be essential. You will collaborate closely with the Government Program Manager, leadership, Business Financial Managers, Contracting Officers, and mission teams to identify and address risks to the organization, programs, and systems. Your role will also involve organizing transition efforts with industry partners and leadership to ensure smooth operations. As the RMF Coordinator Lead, you will be responsible for risk management operations, ensuring that all teams are aligned and that tasks are delivered on schedule and within budget. Your extensive experience in risk management, process improvement, and project management will be critical in navigating the complexities of this role and contributing to the success of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a process that integrates risk management activities into the system life cycle process.
  • Perform and complete organizational and management tasks that support government cyber mission efforts.
  • Manage information security, systems, and enclave risk across the organization.
  • Oversee risks, risk mitigation plans, and strategies, ensuring deadlines and progress are met across Technical Task Orders.
  • Coordinate TTO tasks with customer organizations to implement RMF services.
  • Communicate with clients about expectations and goals.
  • Collaborate with Government Program Manager, leadership, and mission teams on risks.
  • Identify risks to the organization, programs, and systems with the Government PM.
  • Organize transition efforts with industry, leadership, and mission leaders.
  • Serve as the RMF Coordinator Lead for risk management operations.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
  • IAM Level II Certification Required
  • Fifteen (15) years' experience in Risk Management, Process Improvement, or Project Management.
  • Five (5) years' experience with COTS risk management tools (e.g., Active Risk Manager (ARM)).
  • Experience in statistics, data collection, analysis, and data presentation in a classified environment.
  • Five (5) years direct experience with an intelligence community or signals intelligence activity is desired.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Management, or Program Management. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted.
  • Experience in the Agile Scrum methodology.
