About the position

The Risk Management HC Professional 2 at UCI Health is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and analytical functions related to the Medical Center's Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance programs. This role includes managing the University's self-insurance program, liaising with law enforcement and public investigatory agencies, and supporting regulatory compliance efforts. The position requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to effectively manage diverse workloads and coordinate multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform administrative and analytical functions related to Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance programs.
• Administer the University's self-insurance program and manage the Legal Subpoena process.
• Serve as a liaison to local law enforcement, District Attorney's Office, and other public investigatory agencies.
• Support the Director and Regulatory Compliance Programs Manager in coordinating regulatory site surveys.
• Develop written summaries and reports and author letters to external contacts.

• Strong analytical skills to comprehend complex system reports and analyze data into actionable forms.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to coordinate multiple assignments/projects effectively.
• Excellent judgment for decision-making requirements.
• Demonstrated experience working with physicians, faculty, managers, and high-level administrative staff.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in risk management or regulatory compliance.
