About the position

The Risk Management Intern at Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) is responsible for supporting the Third-Party Risk Management department through various administrative tasks. This role is designed for current college students pursuing a degree in Business, providing them with hands-on experience in risk management operations while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist management with administrative roles related to the CFSI third-party risk management program.
• Perform documentation facilitation for community on and offsite events.
• Handle insurance-related administrative functions.
• Assist with secured party customer deposit account arrangements.
• Provide general support functions as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Meet job-specific training requirements in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Current college student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business or related field.
• Proficient organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task and exercise independent judgment.
• Strong analytical and risk assessment skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work products.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Commitment to confidentiality and compliance with data privacy policies.
