About the position

As a Vice President in Risk Architecture at JPMorgan Chase, you will play a crucial role in Risk Management and Compliance by leveraging your expertise to identify and mitigate emerging risks. This position involves data reconnaissance, analysis, and the development of Customer Analytical Data products, ensuring they are optimally designed and operationally supported. You will also lead user acceptance testing (UAT) efforts in the company's cloud journey, specifically with AWS.

Responsibilities

• Participate in data reconnaissance and exploratory work to locate valuable information in data.
• Run analyses to transform and enrich data into usable products.
• Develop and optimize Customer Analytical Data products, including conceptual, logical, physical, and semantic design.
• Conduct requirement grooming sessions with development teams.
• Develop and execute UAT test cases.
• Work with the Data Review Board to certify new attributes.
• Research and remediate data issues in existing attributes.
• Create metadata and lineage reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, Biostatistics, Operations Research, Computing and Information Theory, Industrial/Electrical Engineering, or Information Systems.
• 5 years of experience in writing SQL scripts and experience with Unix.
• Expertise in developing process flows and documenting metadata.
• Experience in developing web interfaces (SharePoint, Confluence, etc.).
• Familiarity with Agile methodology.
• Experience with AWS tools.
• Experience with Data Quality monitoring and reconciliation processes.

Nice-to-haves

• AWS practitioner Certification.
• Experience with AWS tools (AAAS and Data Bricks preferred).
• Knowledge of banking data and concepts.
• Comfortable manipulating and summarizing large quantities of data.
• Ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
